Experienced Principal Wanted

ILC+ is seeking to fill the paid position of Weekend School Principal for its reputable weekend school program.

The Ideal Candidate should:

• Have a masters degree (Or, Bachelor degree with relevant additional experience) and at least 2 years administrative and supervisory experience

• Have excellent communication skills

• Have a passion in education and supporting the Islamic community

Purpose & Scope:

This position is responsible for the overall administration of the weekend school, including but not limited to:

-Overall planning, implementation and evaluation of the weekend school program

-Recruiting students and families;

-Assist with developing curriculum

-Plan & facilitate special events

-Review teacher lesson plans; teach when needed

-Oversee & manage daily activities;

-Communicate between parents, teachers, students & staff

Time commitment:

6-8 hours a week

(Saturday Commitment is from 1-6pm)

Location: International Learning Center, 6573 Edsall Rd., Springfield, VA 22151

Start date: Immediate.

Compensation: based on qualification including prior relevant experience.
