Prayers for our Brothers & Sisters in New Zealand
The administration and staff of ILCPlus would like to express our deepest sorrow and condolences. Let us take a moment and make dua'a for those who were killed in the New Zealand terrorist attacks. May Allah (swt) grant them Jannatul Firdos and raise their ranks. May Allah (swt) give fast and complete recovery to the wounded ones, and may HE grant immense patience and courage to the loved ones of all who died and got wounded. Our hearts go out to our sisters and brothers in New Zealand, and to all who are oppressed and suffering around the world regardless of their race, color, religion, and national origin.
Al-Nu’man ibn Bashir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.”
We know the ILCPlus community is grieving and would like to provide our support in the forms of peaceful and constructive conversations and dialogue. Our children are in pain and have questions! At ILCPlus, our teachers spoke to all of our students at all levels and programs immediately after the horrific incident in New Zealand and provided them with support, comfort, and answers in the forms of messages of love, peace and unity.
We outright denounce and reject all violence and terrorism against any and all human beings committed by anyone regardless of their race, color, religion and national origin. We stand together and pray for world peace.
