Dear ILCPlus Students, Parents, Patrons, Friends and Well-Wishers:

We sincerely hope you and your loved ones are safe and in good health, insha-Allah! ILC follows the Islamic Calendar adopted by both ISNA and the Fiqh Council of North America. Accordingly, the first day of Ramadān (fasting) will be Saturday, March 1, 2024 insha-Allah. As such, the first Taraweeh prayer at ILC will be on Sunday, February 28 (8:15 PM), insha-Allah. With utmost joy and hope, we welcome Ramadan with all its blessings – Ramadan Mubarak to everyone! We pray for and wish you and your family a safe, blessed, prosperous, and peaceful Ramadan – insha-Allah. We will have daily iftaar - please join with family & friends.

ILC Ramadan Programs and activities


  • Daily FREE iftaar program for the whole community- please join us with family & friends.

  • Daily Isha & Quran Khatam Taraweeh Prayer: Ramadan 1-8: 8:15 PM; Ramadan 9-15: 9:15 PM; Ramadan 16-29: 9:25 PM

  • Tahajjud Prayers followed by Sahoor/breakfast (last 10 nights): Ramadan (20 - 29): 3:45 AM

  • Five Time Prayers' Iqama Times:

    • Ramadan (1 - 8): Fajr: 5:45 AM, Duhr: 1:30 PM, Asr: 4:30 PM, Maghrib: Sunset, Isha: 8:15 PM

    • Ramadan (9 - 19): Fajr: 6:30 AM, Duhr: 1:30 PM, Asr: 5:30 PM, Maghrib: Sunset, Isha: 9:15 PM

    • Ramadan (20 - 29): Fajr: 15 minutes after Adhan, Duhr: 1:30 PM, Asr: 5:30 PM, Maghrib: Sunset, Isha: 9:25 PM

  • Juma Prayer at ILC: 1st Juma (March 7): 1:00 PM; rest of the Ramadan and beyond: 1:30 PM

  • Daily short talks by Islamic Scholars and Community Leaders

  • ILCPlus Youth Speaks - Speeches by youths aged 13 - 25 on relevant topics (both boys & girls); If your daughter/son wants to participate, please contact ILC Plus by sending an email to info@ilcplus.org 

  • Weekday After School Quran Class: (Monday - Thursday) Ramadan (1-8): 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM; Ramadan (9-29): 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM; After School Quran Class round the year: 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Ages 5 to 18. To register call Qari Usman at 703-409-2809, or send an email to info@ilcplus.org

ILC has no income other than the generous support from our parents and the community – so, PLEASE kindly donate generously to help us serve Iftaar & Sahur and carry out all the programs and activities for our youths and the community (including social services for needy families & individuals)! There’s no time better than the month of Ramadan to donate for the sake of Allah SWT. Jazak Allahu khairan!

May ALLAH (SWT) bless you for your generosity and make it a truly transformative Ramadan; may HE guide and keep all of us on the right path, and accept our fasting, prayers, and all other good deeds; may HE help all those who are being oppressed and save the whole humanity from the harm of diseases; and may this Ramadan bring heightened unity, peace, and prosperity in the United States and across the world, Ameen.
