The first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are among the most blessed days in the Islamic year. They are days of heightened mercy, multiplied rewards, and immense opportunity for worship, reflection, and charity.

This Dhul Hijjah, we invite you to support the work of ILC+ (International Learning Center Plus) as we continue building a stronger, more connected community through education and service.

Supporting Youth, Families & Community Growth

ILC+ exists to serve as a space where faith is taught, practiced, and lived.

Your support helps sustain programs that:

  • Provide Qur’an and Islamic education for youth

  • Offer guidance and support for families

  • Build mentorship and identity development for young people

  • Maintain accessible community services rooted in Islamic values

Every contribution helps ensure these programs remain consistent and accessible to those who depend on them.

Dhikr in the Blessed Days

The Prophet ﷺ encouraged believers to increase in remembrance of Allah during these days, especially through takbir, tahmid, and tahlil.

Common dhikr includes:

  • Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illallah

  • Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa lillahil hamd

  • SubhanAllah

  • Alhamdulillah

  • La ilaha illallah

A widely recited takbir during these days is:

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illallah, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa lillahil hamd

The Day of Arafah: The Best Day for Du‘a

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The best supplication is the supplication on the Day of Arafah, and the best that I and the prophets before me have said is:

لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer.

This is the most powerful statement of faith—centering the heart in pure Tawheed and submission to Allah.

Community Iftaar on the Day of Arafah

As part of our annual tradition, ILC+ will host a free community iftaar on the Day of Arafah, inshaAllah.

It is a time for reflection, unity, and gathering as a community while seeking Allah’s mercy on one of the most sacred days of the year.

We welcome everyone to join us.

Prayer at ILC+

ILC+ is open for all five daily prayers, providing a space for consistent worship and connection with the masjid.

Give While the Opportunity is Open

These days are brief, but their reward is immense.

Your donation helps sustain education, family services, and community programs that continue to benefit others long after Dhul Hijjah ends.
